Information for Private Hire Operators

With effect from 1 July 2009 all vehicles using the Priority Set Down Area will be charged £1 and a maximum stay of 10 minutes in this area will be strictly enforced. 

Licensed Taxis and Private Hire vehicles picking up passengers at London Luton Airport will be able to use the Short Term Car Park for the purposes of picking up passengers. A discounted rate of 50p for up to 30 minutes parking has been introduced for this purpose, solely for licensed taxi and private hire drivers. Any stay exceeding 30 minutes will be charged at the standard tariff.

In order to obtain this rate, all drivers will need to apply for a Pass Card for which there is a refundable deposit of £5.  Please download and complete the form below and take the completed form to the APCOA Office in the Mid Term Car Park where a card will be issued on presentation of valid I.D.
