Q: Is the Drop off Zone Operational?

A:

Yes, it is.  Vehicles are permitted into the drop off zone solely for the convenience of departing passengers and may stay a maximum of 10 minutes so to ease congestion within the area.  This facility is not open for collection of arriving passengers as this operation normally exceeds the 10 minute grace period affecting the traffic flow and operations within the Drop off Zone.  Arriving passengers should be collected from the short stay car park where normal parking charges apply.  However, if the arriving passenger is already waiting for his/her driver in the drop off zone, then the driver may proceed to the Drop off Zone for collection as this operation should take no longer than 10 minutes. Please note that vehicles left in the drop off zone unaccompanied will be removed and any vehicles present for more than the permitted 10 minutes will incur charges.
