Frequently Asked Questions

Topic: ID Centre

Q. What do I need to bring when collecting a Security ID Pass?

Answer:

When collecting a Security ID Pass, a valid form of identification will need to be provided (original documents only).  Failure to supply proof of identification will result in the pass not being issued.

Acceptable forms of identification are:

 (i) in the case of British nationals, either a full ten-year passport or
a British photo-card driving licence with counterpart;

(ii) in the case of EU nationals, a full EU Member State passport or
National Identity Card;

(iii) in the case of all other nationals, a full passport together with an
original Home Office document confirming the individual's right
to work in the United Kingdom; or

(iv) National Identity Card, Identification Card or Identity Card for
Foreign Nationals issued by the Home Office or their agencies.

If there is a genuine problem in providing the above, your company's Authorising Officer should contact the ID Centre for guidance.
