Earlier this week, Atlasjet hosted some 40 travel agents, tour operators and members of the press at London Luton Airport.
From 2nd May, Turkish carrier, Atlasjet will be launching flights from London Luton to Istanbul Atatürk. The event was an opportunity to showcase the passenger experience at London Luton.
Mustafa Ebgü, Atlasjet’s UK Manager said “Many of those attending weren’t familiar with London Luton Airport, so we wanted to show them how quick and easy everything is here.” He added “We were able to take the group through security and on to a waiting Atlasjet plane, and the whole process took little more than 5 minutes. We will be carrying our passengers on the 200-seat Airbus 321-200, so it was great to be able to give them a little preview of the comfort and quality that we offer on Atlasjet.”
Simon Harley, Business Development Manager at London Luton Airport said how pleased he was to welcome Atlasjet to the Airport. “It was a great day and we are all excited about Atlasjet’s new Istanbul Atatürk service. The agents witnessed for themselves how quick and easy it is to get to and from London Luton, with the Airport’s convenient location on the M1 motorway and the excellent train links with journey times of just 21 minutes to St Pancras.”
Atlasjet will operate London - Istanbul flights 4 times a week in May, and daily starting from June. Flights will depart from London Luton Airport at 12:20 arriving in Istanbul at 18:05 and from Istanbul at 09:30 arriving at 11:20 at London Luton Airport.
