London Luton Airport celebrates National Lift Share week

London Luton Airport is delighted to celebrate National Lift Share week running from 3rd-7th October 2011 and is encouraging staff and passengers alike to log-on and sign-up to the Airport car share website.
Staff and passengers are invited to visit www.londonlutoncarshare.com where they can register and search for other people making the same journey to the Airport. The Car Share scheme is one part of a larger sustainable transport programme, which includes improvements in public transport links for both passengers and staff.
James Shearman, Environment Manager, London Luton Airport said;
‘Car Share has proved very popular with staff and passengers since we launched the scheme at the Airport in 2009. We are committed to developing sustainable transport options to the Airport.’
‘National Lift Share Week is a great opportunity to introduce friends, colleagues and staff to the idea of car-sharing, more people than ever are signing up and searching for others to share with to save money and do their bit for the environment.’
