Swinging Success for London Luton Airport’s Charity Golf Day

London Luton Airport’s fundraising campaign for its charity partner, Sue Ryder, is in full swing after a golf day raised over £5,500
The event attracted 26 teams from Airport departments and partners; including Harrods Aviation, Ryanair and APCOA, who went into battle at Pavenham Park Golf Club.
With the sun beating down, the 102 golfers put in a high-scoring performance on the course, with holes sponsored by Wizz Air and Atlasjet both donating great flight prizes for the winning golfers.
A team from the Armed Police Unit were declared the overall winners and after a post match meal, a raffle was held, with fantastic prizes generously donated from Atlasjet, Hotel Chocolat, Aelia Duty Free and the London Gilding Club to name just a few.
London Luton Airport would like to thank all who contributed to this great event which helped the Airport get a step closer to reaching the target of £85,000 for the charity partnership to support the incredible care Sue Ryder provides in the Region.
