London Luton hosts top travel buyers
Published: 05 June 2009
London Luton Airport, recently voted "UK Business Airport of the Year" by readers of Business Destinations magazine, showcased its new range of products and services at a reception for corporate travel bookers and travel journalists this week.
Guests were invited to try out the facilities for themselves and experience at first hand the range of products and services London Luton can now offer to the business traveller.
Priority Parking offers the ultimate in speed and convenience when driving to the Airport. Those preferring to arrive by train from central London will enjoy excellent connections with journey times of just 20 minutes.
Priority Lane is a fast and efficient option for those passengers looking to take the quickest possible route to security. London Luton has invested heavily to reduce waiting times at security for all passengers, however, it is important to provide choice and Priority Lane, with its executive lounge feel, does offer the ultimate in convenience for the business traveller.
The Executive Lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere, the professional hospitality of a customer focused team and business services such as internet access for those wishing to catch up on work.
During a short address to guests Glyn Jones, Managing Director said "Over the past year we have achieved growth in passenger numbers through the expansion of our route network and increases in the frequency of flights. Passengers choose to fly from London Luton because of our excellent transport links and with the investment that has been made to improve access, the airport is now more convenient and faster to get to. New initiatives such as 'Priority Parking' and 'Priority Lane' drive down the already fast times from Check-in to gate, add in priority boarding available with a number of London Luton airlines and the speed from check-in to plane for the business traveller is faster still."
Priority Parking, Priority Lane and the Executive Lounge are available to book online at www.londonluton.com
