Silverjet Operations Suspended

London Luton Airport confirms that Silverjet has suspended airline operations. All flights that were scheduled from London Luton to New York and Dubai will no longer be operating from today.


Passengers that have made a booking and have yet to travel should contact their booking agent for further information.

London Luton Airport regrets that Silverjet has been unable to continue operating despite the success of both London Luton routes.

Has Silverjet ceased operations entirely?

The last operating flight Y7254 will arrive into London Luton Airport from Dubai at 15:00 on 30th May 2008.As things stand, there will be no further services between London Luton and New York Liberty (Newark) and Dubai thereafter.


I have a reservation that I've already paid for on a future Silverjet flight. How can I get a refund?

If you have paid by credit card the airline suggests you contact your credit card company from whom you should be able to obtain a refund. If you have paid by debit card or charge card, please contact:

How do I now change my travel arrangements? Will other airlines honour my Silverjet tickets?

Other airlines are not under any obligation to honour you unused Silverjet tickets, however, as a courtesy, some airlines may agree to "get you home" using their flights on a basis specified by them.
