Love Is In The Air at London Luton
Published: 09 February 2011
Love is in the air at London Luton Airport with over 100,000 passengers expected to get away for the Valentine's weekend.
Busiest destinations are expected to include classic romantic city breaks such as Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Prague and Budapest, whilst sun seekers will be travelling further to enjoy the warmth of the ever popular Canary Islands, Sharm El Sheikh and Marrakech with the guarantee of late winter sunshine.
Aside from sun and romance, the Airport offers new opportunities for passengers looking to visit somewhere different with the increasing popularity of flights to Central and Eastern Europe to include destinations in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Latvia and most recently to Estonia.
Simon Harley, the airport’s Airline Development Manager, commented: “With over 90 destinations on offer, our passengers will love the opportunity to getaway for the Valentine's weekend. With such a range of routes available to book how could they not be tempted to treat someone special”.
