Employee travel card
If you work at LLA and use public transport to get here, you can apply for a Staff Discount Travelcard
The card entitles you to up to 50% discount on selected products on Thameslink and East Midlands Trains services and discounted bus travel.
You can use the Travelcard for discounted season tickets from your home station to Luton Airport Parkway station or individual tickets for work and leisure.
It’s valid on participating bus services, subject to conditions, and for discounted parking at specified train stations

Travel by Train?
The discounted travel scheme is for staff who are based at London Luton Airport.
The scheme lets you buy a season ticket between your home* Thameslink, Great Northern and selected East Midlands Train stations and Luton Airport Parkway at a massive discount of 50% off the normal fare.
The season ticket is valid on Thameslink, Great Northern, Southern and East Midlands Trains only.
You'll be able to take advantage of the Luton DART shuttle transfer between Luton Airport Parkway and the London Luton Airport Terminal building, but you need to register here at least 48 hours ahead of travelling.
Other travel cards are not included, and that also means ones that are valid on the London buses, underground, and DLR.
How and Where can you use this?
Before you buy each new ticket, please ask for a “Promotion Code” PIN from the ID Centre to get your discount.
Your destination must be Luton Airport Parkway, but your home station can be any Thameslink or East Midlands Trains station between, and including, Leicester to the north and Brighton to the south.
Other travel cards are not included, and that also means ones that are valid on the London buses, underground, and DLR.

Applying for your staff travel card is easy
- Fill out application form (you’ll need your LLA Pass or company ID to hand)
- Head over to the ID Centre with your completed application form and your airport ID card. Remember to ask for your promotion code PIN – you’ll need this too.
Using it is easy
Book bus or coach travel on board or at our Onward Travel Centre.
Book your train travel online or in person at the station ticket office.
Remember, no ID, no Travelcard. You must bring your LLA pass or company ID card when you come to pick up your Travelcard.
Your travelcard will then be valid for one year from issue (or the length of your contract if less than one year) BUT it can only be used in conjunction with a valid LLA Pass or company ID.
Please note: Do look after your Travelcard as there is a charge for replacement and you'll also need a covering letter from your company agreeing to pick up the cost.

The Travelcard is FREE and valid for one year from issue, or for the length of your contract if shorter.
