London Luton Airport Operations Ltd is dedicated to running LLA in a safe and responsible manner. In order to achieve this, our Technical Services Department (TSD) looks after the airport’s assets and controls any works onsite by third parties or contractors.

It is essential that all works undertaken are controlled and completed to ensure the safety of all. 

We have specific processes in place to make sure this happens, such as control of contractors and work permits are required before any work can take place. 
 

Work Permits

London Luton Airport operates a ‘Work Authorisation’ system which is required for access on site to conduct any form of works.

All permits have to be Approved and Issued by an Authorised Person before works can proceed.
