Supporting LLA’s Community Trust Fund
About the Airport's Community Trust Fund
The London Luton Airport Community Trust Fund is our primary channel for distributing our social donations to local charities and community organisations. It allows communities to apply for grants between £250 - £10,000, to help fund or support projects and charities within the local area.
We are working hard to reduce the noise and environmental impact on the neighbouring areas. LLA’s Noise Violation scheme ensures aircraft which are above the specific noise levels are subject to a fine.
In addition to the Noise Violation Scheme we also have an off-track Monitoring Scheme, meaning if aircraft leave the corridor before reaching the required altitude, they will also receive a fine.
All fines (both noise and off-track) are put into the Community Trust Fund and are reported in our Quarterly Monitoring Report here.

How do I apply for the Community Trust Fund?
The Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation manages the trust fund and you can download an application form from its website. The Foundation will happily answer any questions, call on +(0)1582 522422. Remember that only fully completed applications that include all the required supporting documents will be reviewed.
