Drop off and pick up options

Following the opening of Terminal Car Park 2, the paid-for Drop off and Pick up area has been relocated.

The temporary Drop-Off and Pick-Up facility in the Mid-Stay car park has now closed.

Our brand-new covered Express Drop-Off and Pick-Up zone costs £7 for 10 minutes and operates as a cashless and barrier-free system, providing quick and convenient access to the terminal building.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) will be in operation, and payments should be made online after your visit.

Please click here to make your payment.

Alternative Drop off and Pick-Up

Passengers now have two hours Free, instead of one to Drop-Off or Pick-Up in our Long Stay car park

Blue Badge Holders & passengers with booked special assistance

For ease of access to the terminal, we recommend Terminal Car Park 1 for Blue Badge holders and those who have pre-booked Assisted Travel (previously known as Special Assistance).

Blue Badge holders and those with pre-booked assistance benefit from 30 minutes of FREE parking, and reduced rates for longer stays up to 24 hours, in Terminal Car Park 1. For more information, see here.

EV vehicles

Passengers being dropped off or picked up in a fully electric vehicle are eligible for a reduced tariff when using Terminal Car Park 1 only.

  • Your passport is 10 years old or more on the day you enter an EU country

Border Management System for Europe

A modern, more efficient border management system for Europe

Travelling to a number of European countries is about to become easier thanks to the Entry/Exit System (EES). The EES is Europe’s new border management system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of 29 European countries. It is being put into place to make border checks easier, secure, and efficient for passengers.

Starting from 12 October 2025, the 29 European countries using the EES will progressively roll out the system at their external borders over a period of six months.

Fast Track Security unofficial reseller

LLA has become aware of several passenger complaints concerning the purchase of Fast Track Security Tickets through a third-party entity known as My Trip Online.

We want to make it clear that LLA has no connection or affiliation with, and does not endorse, My Trip Online or its business practices.

Passengers have reported that after purchasing Fast Track Security Tickets through My Trip Online, they were unwittingly enrolled on a subscription service, incurring charges of €79 every three months until cancellation.  This has led to several complaints and confusion, with some passengers mistakenly believing that LLA was involved in or had authorised these transactions.

Passengers are advised that fast-track tickets are available for purchase directly from LLA with no additional charges, using the following link.

We would always strongly advise our passengers to exercise caution when purchasing tickets from any third-party websites.

For any concerns or questions, please email LLA’s customer service department directly: [email protected]
