All of our car parks have designated blue badge parking spaces. For those using our Special Assistance service or have a blue badge, we recommend using Terminal Car Park 1 for ease of access.

Please park in a designated blue badge parking space and display your badge for the duration of your stay.

If you are taking your Blue Badge away with you on your trip or if you do not have one, but have reduced mobility needs, please contact APCOA via email [email protected] in advance of parking and supply your registration and blue badge details. A note will be made of your vehicle details so you will not be issued with a parking charge notice.

Parking for less than 24 hours

Terminal Car Park 1:

  1. At the barrier on entry to the car park speak to a member of staff and tell them you have a blue badge.
  2. Proceed to levels 0 or 1, where you can find blue badge parking and park in a designated blue badge space.
  3. If you haven’t done so already, and need to take your blue badge away with you and haven’t arranged this with APCOA in advance, please proceed to the parking offices located on Level 2.
  4. Take your blue badge to the APCOA offices on level 2 of the car park so they can take your vehicle details so you will not be issued with a parking charge notice.

Parking for more than 24 hours

For stays over 24 hours we recommend pre-booking your parking via the usual method here as this is best value for longer stays. However, we still recommend that passengers with reduced mobility should park in Terminal Car Parks 1 for ease of access.

How are your car parks assessable for disabled users?

All our car parks have obtained Disabled Parking Accreditation (DPA) see more information here.

What does the disabled parking accreditation mean?

Our Disabled Parking Accreditation

In recognition of our efforts to be an inclusive airport, our car parks have been awarded the Disabled Parking Accreditation, an initiative set out by the charity Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) and managed by the British Parking Association (BPA). The initiative aims to improve parking facilities for disabled people in the UK.

What is London Luton Airport doing to help disabled people?

Our car parks fulfill the recommendations set out by the Disabled Parking Accreditation by offering the following:
  • Accessible parking bays - meeting the British Building Standards and having 327 accessible bays available across the whole airport site, so that disabled motorists can park with ease
  • Ease of access - Clear pedestrian routes from accessible car parking bays and compliant lift access
  • Clear signage - clear directions, information and instructions on parking
  • Alternative payment methods - those unable to pay using the ticket machines have the option to pay using a card at the exit barrier
  • Concessions - Blue badge holders benefit from a reduced gate tariff in Terminal Car Park 1

What other car parking options are there at London Luton Airport?
