As one of our of four official cark parks at London Luton Airport, the Mid Stay Car Park is just a 10-minute walk to the terminal and provides secure parking with 24/7 patrols for the duration of your stay. No need to pre-book, just arrive at the car park.

How to find us and what you’ll need to do

  1. If you’re using Sat Nav, use the postcode LU2 9QT to get to the Airport.

  2. Then just follow the signs for the Mid Stay Car Park.

  3. On entry, take a ticket and follow the signs to the nearest available space.

  4. Park and lock your car, making a note of where you've parked.

  5. Take a 10-minute walk to the terminal.

Please note: there is no bus service serving the Mid Stay Car Park until further notice.

Blue Badge parking spaces are available in bays C8, C10 & C12. Passengers who require a PRM bay are enitled to a free upgrade. Press the intercom at the Mid Stay Car Park barriers to recieve more details. 

There are no height restrictions in the Mid Stay Car Park

Drop off/pick up in Mid Stay Car Park

If you are picking someone up or dropping someone off, you can do so in our mid stay car park, where the drop off and pick up zone has been temporarily relocated following the recent car park fire. 

Drop off/pick up in Long Stay Car Park

If you need a bit more time to drop off or pick up, our Long Stay Car Park offers 1 hour FREE parking. Transfer to the terminal takes only 10 minutes on one of the free shuttle buses to the terminal building. You can stay up to 2 hours for £7.00. Stays longer than that will be charged at full daily rate, and there's is no return within 4 hours.

Parking for motorcycles

FREE parking for motorcycles in the Mid Stay Car Park’s designated motorcycle parking bays for a maximum of 21 days. After 21 days, charges will apply at the normal daily rate.

Please note that although London Luton Airport Car Parks are monitored, we advise customers to lock their motorcycles and disable them when possible. Vehicles are left in the Car Parks at their owners’ risk. Please also note that this is not a covered area.

What security measures are in place at the Mid Stay Car Park at LLA?

All our car parks are Park Mark Safer Parking® certified as assessed by the Police and are patrolled 24/7 by management, Airport Security and the Police.

What should I do when I arrive at LLA’s Mid Stay Car Park?

Drive up to the barrier and take a ticket. Once the barrier raises, enter the car park and locate an available space to park in. On exit, drive up to the exit barrier and insert the ticket. Once you’ve paid any outstanding fee, the barrier will raise allowing you to exit.

What electric car parking facilities do you have?

Electric vehicles are fully covered at Luton Airport with 6 Tesla chargers and 4 type 2 chargers all located in Terminal carpark 1 on the second floor. Fully open to the public you can charge for up to 8 hours at the charging stations with prices starting at £1. See more on our electric vechicle facilities here.
