Frequently Asked Questions
What if I have a trailer or caravan, or a large vehicle like a motorhome, limousine or tall van?
If you take up more than one space, we’re sorry, but you’ll have to pay for the extra space(s) used.
So, please get in touch before you book or turn up, and we can tell you if your vehicle is too big for a single space and how much you’ll have to pay.
Do I have to tell you if I’m coming in a different car than I told you about when I booked?
Yes. Our entry barrier cameras record your car registration number. So, if you arrive in a different car, we won’t be able to match the registration to the booking.
If you don’t tell us, you’ll end up paying twice, and the extra charges will be charged at our pay-on-the-day rate displayed at the entrance to the car park you use. The extra charges will be debited to the card you used to make your original booking.
You can change the car registration in your booking via the Manage my Booking feature on the Luton Airport Car Parking website or by calling us on 0345 303 7397, as long as you do it 24 hours before your chosen car park entry time.
Do I get allocated a space when I pre-book?
Parking spaces are not allocated, so you can simply choose one you prefer upon arrival.
If no spaces are available in your booked car park, drive to the exit and press the ‘help’ button to speak with an operator.
If your booked car park is full, you’ll receive a free upgrade or be asked to use a cheaper car park, and we will refund the price difference.
Can I book disabled spaces?
No, but all our Car Parks have disabled spaces for Blue Badge holders.
Terminal Car Park 1:
82 blue badge bays, located on levels 0 & 1

Can I request a change to my booking?
It depends on what you've booked.
If you've booked our Economy Priority Parking (Drop & Go) service, changes may not be requested.
For all other parking products, you're allowed to request changes to your booking as long as you do so at least 24 hours before your entry time. It's a breeze to request the changes online, or you can choose to call us on 0345 303 7397.
We will tell you if there is any change in price to your booking before processing the change you request.
For further details, please see our booking terms here.
How do I pay if I haven’t booked?
Charges for pay-on-the-day parking are displayed at the Car Park entrance.
Take a ticket from the machine at the entrance barrier and keep it with you at all times.
On your return, you pay for your parking at the Pay Stations provided, and you’ll need your ticket to do that.
There’s at least one Pay Station in each car park and others in the terminal building.
The Pay Stations accept cash, Visa debit cards, and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
If the Pay Station isn’t working, use the ‘help’ button, and we’ll direct you to your nearest alternative.
I’ve lost my parking ticket. What should I do?
If you had a physical ticket on entry and have misplaced it, at the exit barrier, press the intercom to connect to an operator.
If you lose your ticket, you’ll be charged the full 24-hour rate for each day or part day your vehicle has been in one of our car parks at the charging rate displayed at the entrance to that car park.
What happens after I have booked my parking?
Once you’ve booked your parking space, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking.
Can I make a booking to park at the airport on the day of travel?
Yes, parking can be booked online at any time. However, it’s important to note that booking early often provides access to better rates.
Are there any height restrictions?
Terminal Car Park 1 and Terminal Car Park 2 are conveniently located just a short walk from the terminal. These multi-story car parks have a height restriction of 2.1m for parking customers, except for the Drop Off and Pick Up zone on the ground floor of Terminal Car Park 2.
