What should I do when I arrive at the Drop & Go Parking?

Accepted Answer

Drive up to the barrier, where the condition of your car will be recorded. The barrier will then automatically raise once it recognises your car registration. If the barrier does not raise, use the intercom and quote your reference number.

Park in any available bay (note your bay number) and proceed to the Priority Parking Reception and check in using your QR code, barcode, or vehicle registration.

A label with your booking details will print – attach it to your keys using a key tag and drop your keys in the secure key chute. Keep your return receipt safe.

Our professional driver will move your vehicle to a secure, on-site storage location.

We have recently replaced our Meet & Greet Priority Parking product with a Drop & Go service. You will still receive the same level of service from our professional members of staff; we have just introduced a self-service element for the convenience and ease of our passengers.

What is Priority Parking at London Luton Airport?

Priority Parking is a Drop & Go product, making it the most convenient way to park at LLA. You simply drop your vehicle off at the Priority Parking area located on Level 2 of Terminal Car Park 1, follow the simple check-in process and head off on your trip. After dropping your keys off, our fully trained and insured staff will move to vehicle to a secure on-site location.

On your return, simply return to the priority parking area and use the self-service machine to scan your return receipt, which you were given during your check-in process. Your keys will be returned to you, along with the location of your vehicle.

What happens I am late collecting my car?

If you have booked Priority Parking Drop & Go and your flight back to LLA is delayed, you might have to pay an overstay charge, so it’s always a good idea to allow a little extra time for unexpected delays.

An overstay charge will apply to your booking if your vehicle remains in the car park you have booked for a total period which is 2 hours or longer than your total booking period. For each part or full additional 24-hour period your vehicle remains in the car park, the overstay charge will be calculated at a rate of a full 24 hours of additional parking at the charging rate displayed at the entrance to that car park.

If there are any overstay charges applicable to your booking, the charge will need to be paid via the self-service machine for your keys to be returned to you.

What happens if I arrive early to drop off my car?  Do I have to pay extra?

If you have booked Priority Parking Drop & Go and arrive early or later than your booking allocation. You might have to pay an overstay charge, so it’s always a good idea to allow a little extra time for unexpected delays.

If you have lost your return receipt to collect your vehicle, go to the Priority Parking reception area and press the help point. You will be connected to a member of staff who will be happy to help you.

It depends on what you've booked.

If you've booked our Economy Priority Parking (Meet and Greet) service, changes may not be requested.

For all other parking products, you're allowed to request changes to your booking as long as you do so at least 24 hours before your entry time. It's a breeze to request the changes online or you can choose to call us on 0345 303 7397.

We will tell you if there is any change in price to your booking before processing a change you request.

Can I cancel my Priority Parking booking?

It depends on when you're letting us know, and what you’ve booked.

If you let us know within 14 days of making your booking that you wish to cancel, your booking will be cancelled and you'll only have to pay for any booking period which took place before the date of on which you cancelled.

If you want to cancel after 14 days of making your booking, it depends on what you've booked.

If you've booked our Economy Priority Parking (Meet and Greet) service, cancellations after 14 days may not be requested.

For all other parking products, you're allowed to cancel your booking as long as you do so at least 24 hours before your entry time.
