Short stay parking options

There are three official car parks to choose from. Terminal Car Park 1 is our multi-storey car park at London Luton Airport, located just a short walk from the terminal, offering the most convenient option.

Our Mid Stay Car Park is just an 8 to 10-minute walk to the terminal, offering great value, secure parking. For the most budget-friendly option, choose our official Long Stay Car Park, which offers secure parking just a 10-minute (on average) bus ride to the terminal, dropping you off at the terminal entrance. Buses run every 20 minutes.

All car parks have allocated disabled car parking spaces. Motorcycle parking is available in our Mid Stay Car Park and for EV drivers, chargers are available in Terminal Car Park 1.

Dropping off and picking up at LLA

Our Drop Off Zone is the closest to Departures, and it’s good value if your Drop Off is going to be super quick. The cost of this is £5 for 10 minutes, £1 per minute thereafter.

The closest option for FREE Pick Ups is our Mid Stay Car Park. You get 15 minutes free if you’re picking up or dropping off.

There is an option to park FREE for 1 hour at our official Long Stay Car Park. 1 to 2 hours is £7.00.

How much does it cost to drop off at London Luton Airport?

Due to the Car Park Fire, a new temporary drop off zone is located in the Mid Stay Car Park, this is free of charge until further notice. Please drop passengers off as quickly as possible to enable other passengers to be dropped off.

How do I park at London Luton Airport?

  1. As a result of the car park fire customers must pre-book in advance. Passengers who do not pre-book will not be allowed to enter the car park and may be directed to alternative car parks off site.

  3. Use post code LU2 9QT to get to the airport
  4. Follow the signs to your chosen car park
  5. At the barrier, press the button to get a ticket and the barrier will raise
  6. Enter the car park and find an available space to park your car
  7. On exit, enter your ticket at the exit barrier, pay any outstanding charge and the barrier will raise allowing you to exit.
