How do the LLA shopping nights work
Step-by-step guide
Step 1 - Secure Your Spot - Tickets, Entry & Charity Donations
To secure your entry, please secure your FREE ticket via the Eventbrite page and follow the instructions provided. One ticket per person is required. The event is FREE to attend, however we are kindly suggesting a charity donation of £2 per entry to support our Charity Partners. The donations are voluntary and will be collected at the event where you will also be able to participate in a £5 or £10 charity raffle and win some amazing prizes instead.
Step 2 - Head to the Terminal upon arrival - 20:00 onwards
Approach the terminal building as if you were flying. We would like to encourage our guest to use one of our convenient public transport links. Follow signs to Terminal Car Park 2, or for additional parking, the Mid Stay Car Park. Parking is FREE for this event, car park barriers will lift automatically from 7pm to 1am, no car park tickets are required. Staff will be available to assist you.
Step 3 - Check-in opens around 20:30
Head to the check-in area. Event staff will scan your Eventbrite ticket (printed or digital). You will join a queue to have your ID checked and an event pass issued to access the Departure lounge.
You MUST have registered for a ticket and bring a valid form of ID to access the event (passport or driving licence). NO VALID ID, NO ENTRY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Step 4 - Grab a coffee, enjoy entertainment & relax landside
Do not crowd the security gates until the event opens. There will be an announcement when this happens. Once the last flight is on final call at approximately 21:30, we will be given permission to open. Please be patient in case of flight delays.
Step 5 - Security screening opens - approximately 21:30
All attendees must go through normal airport security screening.
Note: Hand luggage-sized bags only are permitted. All rules around liquids/hazardous items apply.
All Airport pass holders must register for an Eventbrite ticket to gain entry to the event.
Step 6 - Shop until you drop
The last entry for the event will be at 11:30 PMCharity partner contributions

Shopping night frequently asked questions
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
YES! Due to the event being held airside you will need valid photo ID. Passport or driving licence are accepted.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied.
Can I update my registration information?
You can cancel tickets and rebook through Eventbrite
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, or alternatively please show your invite on your smartphone.
Please note we will be checking invites off against a guestlist so there is no duplication
Do I need to go through Security?
Yes, all attendees must go through the normal airport security screening process; therefore, hand luggage-sized bags only are permitted. All rules around liquids/hazardous items apply.
How do I park for the event?
On the night, guests can park in Terminal Car Park 2. If the car park you're attempting to park in is full, try the alternative car park (Mid Stay Car Park).
How to park
Proceed to either Terminal Car Park 2 or Mid Stay Car Park.
Car park barriers will lift automatically from 7 pm to 1 am; no car park tickets are required.After the event, you will be able to exit the car park without being charged.
If you have any issues getting in/out of the car park, push the intercom.
We encourage the use of public transport and car sharing where possible.
What's the refund policy?
No refund or exchange, statutory rights remain unaffected.
How do I get out of the car park for FREE?
If you have parked in Terminal Car Park 2 or Mid Stay Car Park for the event, the barriers should be open when you exit the car park. If you experience any issues, press the intercom button to connect to an operator for further assistance.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
It will need to match to be granted access to the event, no ticket and ID - No access.
Is parking free for the event?
Yes, guests for the event can park in Terminal Car Park 2 or the Mid Stay Car Park for FREE, as long as the vehicle has exited the car park by 1am.
Where do I park for the event?
There are limited spaces available in Terminal Car Park 2 (5-minute walk); alternatively, you can park in the Mid Stay Car Park (10-minute walk).
