If you have an early morning flight, waking up at the crack of dawn to stand in check-in queues can be challenging. Jet2’s Twilight Check‑In, or easyJet’s and Wizz Air’s Twilight Bag Drop services, allow you to skip that entirely.

By checking in your luggage the evening before your flight, you can head straight to security the next morning, grab a coffee, and relax.

How it works

The process is to help early morning travellers make their journey easier by allowing them to check in their luggage the night before travel. Before checking in your luggage, you must keep this critical rule in mind: you must complete your online check-in before heading to the airport for the evening drop.

You can do this from home. Make sure to check in online via your airline's app or website. This step is mandatory before the airline can accept your luggage. 

2. Drop your bags at the Airport the night before :

Bring your luggage, passports and boarding passes to your airline's designated check-in desks during their specific evening twilight hours. Don't forget that once your bags are checked in, you won't see them again until your destination. Keep your passports, boarding documents, overnight essentials, and any morning medications in your hand luggage.

3. Skip the check-in queue the next morning:

When you arrive for your flight, skip the check-in lines completely and head straight to security.

Jet2 Twilight Check In®

 Eligible flights: For all flights departing before 12:00 PM (midday), you must be checked in online at any time from 28 days and no later than 24 hours before your flight. 

When you can drop your bags off: you can drop your bags off at the Airport between 16:30 and 21:00 the evening before your morning flight.

easyJet Twilight Bag Drop

Eligible flights: Flights departing at or before 9:00 AM, as long as passengers are checked in online via their mobile app before arriving at the Airport.

When you can drop your bags off: you can drop your bags off at the Airport between 18:00 and 21:00 the evening before your morning flight.

• Free service
• Drop off bags for other people on the same booking as you, as long as you have everyone's passport, boarding passes, and essential travel documents.
• Bags will be stored safely in a restricted zone in the airport.

Wizz Air Twilight Drop Off

Eligible flights: Available to all Wizz Air flights departing up to 9:00 AM the following morning, as long as you have already checked yourself in.

When you can drop your bags off: you can drop your bags off at the Airport between 21:00 PM and 2:00 AM the evening before your flight.
