Changing places logoAdult changing facilties

There are accessible toilets throughout the airport, and we also have an adult changing facility in the departure lounge, after security. It is located in the quiet room next to gate 17. This includes a toilet, shower facility and a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.

Quiet room

Our quiet room is located next to gate 17, in departures. Everyone travelling from London Luton Airport needs to go through security. We know airports can be a stressful experience and present challenges for many people. The quiet room is a calming environment, specifically for passengers with disabilities like autism, dementia or a cognitive impairment, who will benefit from a safe and quiet place when in unfamiliar surroundings.

Water fountains

Water fountains are located just after security, at the base of the lifts before going up to the departure lounge. Most of our food outlets will provide free tap water upon request too.

Hearing loop

We have recently upgraded our hearing loop facilities and now have 130 hearing loops all around the airport site. This will ensure customers with hearing aids can communicate with staff within check-in, security search, departure gates and border control.

Service animal relief area

If travelling with an Assistance animal, we have an animal relief area located at the front of the terminal building (near bus stop T) should you wish to relieve your animal before catching your flight. Just look out for this sign.
