LLA x easyJet Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Competition organiser

The organiser of the competition is London Luton Airport Operations Limited (“LLA”) of Percival House 134 Percival Way, London Luton Airport, Luton, United Kingdom, LU2 9NU (registered number: 03491213). The supplier of the prize for this competition is easyJet Airline Company Limited (“easyJet”), Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, LU2 9PF (registered number: 03034606).

2. The competition

The title of the competition is “easyJet x London Luton Airport 30th Birthday Quiz” (“Competition”).

2.1. The Competition will be run using Instagram and offer entrants the chance to win a pair of return flight tickets (detailed below) in accordance with these terms and conditions (the “Prize”). 

2.2. LLA is the organiser of the Competition, and it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You acknowledge that in entering the Competition, insofar as is permitted by law, you will release Instagram in respect of all liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death in connection with the Competition. 

3. How to enter

3.1. The Competition will run from 10:00 am on 10 November 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 9:59 am on 11 November 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. LLA will post a promotional post on Instagram announcing the start of the Competition (“Competition Announcement Post”)

3.2. All Competition entries must satisfy all of the entry requirements set out below by no later than 00:00 on the Closing Date. All Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

3.3. To enter the Competition, you must:

  • (a) follow “@ldnlutonairport” on Instagram; and
  • (b) correctly answer all three questions in the quiz hosted on the “@ldnlutonairport” Instagram story.

3.4. By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

4.1. The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:

  • (a) employees of LLA or easyJet or its holding or subsidiary companies;
  • (b) employees of agents or suppliers of LLA or easyJet or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
  • (c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

4.2. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. LLA may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

4.3. LLA will not accept Competition entries that LLA determines (at its absolute discretion) are:

  • (a) automatically generated by computer;
  • (b) completed by a third party organisation, syndicate, trade body or consumer group;
  • (c) completed in bulk;
  • (d) illegible or corrupted; 
  • (e) late;
  • (f) misdirected or incorrectly submitted;
  • (g) contain content which is illegal, racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise offensive; 
  • (h) infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party; or
  • (i) incomplete.

4.4. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

4.5. LLA may disqualify you if:

  • (a) your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition (which may be determined at LLA absolute discretion); or
  • (b) you corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition.

5. The Prize

5.1. The prize is:

  • (a) A pair of return flights with easyJet to any destination to which it operates from London Luton Airport (provided that the flights take place between 10 November 2025 and 10 November 2026);

5.2. The Prize provided by easyJet is subject to any terms of use easyJet may issue to you from time to time (detailed below). The dates and times of the flights booked are based on flight schedules determined by easyJet. The Prize is subject to the availability of seats on easyJet flights. You acknowledge that flights are subject to change and that neither LLA nor easyJet guarantee that any flights will depart at any of the scheduled times or at all. 

5.3. The Prize does not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

5.4. The winner of the Competition will be responsible for ensuring that they (and any person travelling with them) are available and fit to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the Prize in question on the date flights are booked with easyJet. 

5.5. LLA may substitute the Prize with prizes of equal or greater value.

5.6. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.

6. Winner

6.1. A winner of the Competition will be selected at random from a list of all valid Competition entries who submitted three correct answers to the Instagram story quiz at the Closing Date (“Winner”). The decision of LLA will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.2. The Winner will be contacted on 11 November 2025 by “@ldnlutonairport” on Instagram (“Announcement Date”) via direct message.

6.3. If the Winner’s Instagram settings permit direct messages from “@ldnlutonairport”, “@ldnlutonairport” will send a direct message within 1 working day of the Announcement Date to request the Claim Details set out below.

6.4. If the Winner’s Instagram settings do not permit direct messages from “@ldnlutonairport”, “@ldnlutonairport” will post a further reply to the Winner requesting that the Winner provide the Claim Details set out below. 

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1. To claim the Prize the Winner must provide the following details (“Claim Details”) to LLA within five days of LLA requesting them (in accordance with the procedure set out above):

  • (a) the full name (as stated on their passport), contact number, email address of the Winner;
  • (b) the address to send the Prize to;
  • (c) the full name of person accompanying the Winner on the Trip. 

7.2. If the Winner has not claimed the Prize within five days of the Announcement Date, any later claim will not be valid and LLA may offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the valid entries that were received before the Closing Date.

7.3. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Winner’s behalf.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, LLA will not be liable for any loss or damage:

  • (a) incurred by any participant in the Competition, in connection with their failure to win the Prize in accordance with these terms;
  • (b) incurred by the Winner, in connection with the Winner not taking up or using the Prize; or
  • (c) incurred by the Winner in taking up or utilising the Prize except where such loss or damage is caused by the negligence of LLA or its sub-contractors or that of their employees.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

9.1. LLA will only process your personal information as set out in LLA’s privacy notice: https://www.london-luton.co.uk/privacy-notice.

10. General

10.1 Once the booking is confirmed no changes to the booking are permitted by easyJet. easyJet booking conditions will apply to the booking in addition to these terms and conditions. The booking conditions are available on request or can be found at: https://www.easyjet.com/en/terms-and-conditions. 

10.2. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, LLA may, at its discretion, exclude you from participating in the Competition.

10.3. LLA and/or easyJet may suspend, cancel, or change any term of this Competition (including the Prize) at any time.

10.4. These terms are governed by English law and you and we can bring legal proceedings in connection with these terms in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you and we can also bring claims legal proceedings in the courts of the country you live in.
