What is Prebook Security?
Prebook Security allows you to skip the queues by reserving a 30-minute window in Airport Security. The service is currently only available for those arriving between 3 AM and 3 PM.
You simply reserve a 30-minute timeslot for security in the days before your arrival. On the day of travel, head towards security and follow the signs for "Prebook Security” where you'll find a team member ready and waiting to welcome you.
You can pre-book this service from 4 days before your arrival, right up until 60 minutes before you arrive at security (subject to availability).

Please note that Prebook Security operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will be subject to LLA's ordinary security checks in the order you arrive at Prebook Security alongside other Prebook Security users. If you use Prebook Security, we are unable to guarantee the time it will take to undertake security checks through the Airport Security area. How does Prebook Security work?
- Book your appointment slot up to 4 days before your travel date.
- On arrival at the airport, make your way to the security area and scan your boarding card at one of the signposted “Prebook Security” gates.
- Upon entry to the security area, head to the left where you'll find signs for "Prebook Security". A member of our security team will be waiting to welcome you and scan your QR code.
- You will then be directed to the front of the line.

How do I use pre-book security?
1. Pre-book security operates on a first-come first-served basis.
2. You can book your appointment slot up to 4 days before your scheduled departure or sign up on arrival at the airport (Depending on availability)
3. You will receive a QR code via email
4. When you arrive at the airport make your way to security departures and scan your boarding card at the gates denoted (Pre-booked Security)
5. Upon entry to the security area you will notice a branded arch, please make your way there and have your QR Code ready for scanning.
6. A member of the security personnel will direct you to the front of the line.
Can I change or cancel my appointment time?
Yes, you can change or cancel your Prebook Security reservation at any time. You will find the option to change or cancel on the confirmation page after booking. You will also find these options on your confirmation email.
I am travelling with young children; do I need to include them in the party size?
Children aged 4 and under do not need to be included in the party size. Those aged 5 and upwards will need to be included.
What information is required to pre-book security?
No account registration or login is required. Passengers utilising the service will be asked to select the date of departure, destination airport, airline, flight number and party size. Lastly, they will be asked to provide their name and email address to receive the booking confirmation with the QR code as an attachment.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email for my appointment. What do I do?
When booking your slot, make sure that your email is typed correctly and check your inbox's junk or spam folder. If you're still unable to find your booking confirmation, you can re-book again for another appointment.
Why am I not seeing my flight as an option for Prebook Security?
Check that the time, date, airline and flight number are all correct when signing up for your appointment. Slots are limited and may book up fast, so we recommend booking up to 4 days before your flight.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before or after your booking time, the QR code will still be valid.
What if I need to check-in my bag?
Please ensure that there is enough time to clear check-in and make your booking
