London Luton Airport Consultative Committee’s (LLACC) Passenger Service Sub Committee (PSSC)

The PSSC exists to consider the entirety of the passenger experience at London Luton Airport, including Surface Access, Terminal facilities, Security, Immigration and complaints procedures. As part of this committee, the performance, goals and aspirations of the Assisted Travel service provider are discussed on a quarterly basis. 

Members of the committee include the Consumers’ Association - Which? and The Disability Resource Centre, as well as local Council members. The Vice Chairman represents passengers with disability and has links with the Dunstable Disability Resource Centre.  Minutes of these meetings are available to the public on the LLACC website.

London Luton Airport Accessibility Forum (LLAAF)

London Luton Airport engages twice annually with its Assisted Travel provider, Wilson James, and with disability groups and individuals, at the London Luton Airport Accessibility Forum (LLAAF). The aim of the (LLAAF) is to invite organisations and individuals to have an open discussion, giving both positive and negative feedback and putting forward suggestions for improvement. Followed by an invite to tour the facilities, both landside and airside.  Attendees of the forum included an LLA passenger, The Disability Resource Centre, Autism Bedfordshire, Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, Action on Hearing Loss, JDRF, Colostomy UK, Spinal Injuries Association and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
