Brasov, Romania

Brasov in December is more than its Christmas markets. Big and small come in equal measure here. We’d recommend visiting the Black Church at nighttime – you can’t miss it as it’s the largest Gothic church in Eastern Europe. Then get into a tight spot at Rope Street, one of Europe’s narrowest streets, measuring in at 111cm in parts.
