London Luton Airport Charity Partners 2025 – 2027

London Luton Airport has two charity partners for 2025 to 2027: National Literacy Trust and Tokko Youth Hub.

The National Literacy Trust is an independent charity dedicated to improving literacy skills among children, young people and adults. Through community programmes, national initiatives, and influencing government policies, the NLT tackles literacy gaps and inspires a love of reading and writing.

Tokko Youth Hub was formed from a Luton voluntary sector bid in 2009. The charity aims to transform the lives of young people aged 13 to 19 in the local community. Tokko runs several weekly inclusion groups and support services, fostering informed choices and supporting mental wellbeing.

Both charities support London Luton Airport’s commitment to drive local skills development and education, and complement the Luton 2040 vision to build a healthy, fair and sustainable town.

What do the charity partnerships involve?

London Luton Airport staff will take in and organise a wide range of events and activities to raise funds for both charities, with all proceeds split equally between both charities. Events include long-distance bike rides across Europe, football tournaments, golf days and sponsored skydives.

Since 2008, London Luton Airport’s charity partnership scheme has raised more than £600,000 for local and national causes.
