At London Luton Airport the First Aid Training Department isn’t your average compliance training provider. All of our trainers are fully experienced, full-time members of the Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service and also form part of the Airports medical response team, trained by East of England Ambulance Service Trust to a minimum of FREC Level 3, so they practice what they teach.
Our courses and approved qualifications are designed not only to meet all of your regulatory and statutory duties by complying with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) but to give your employees skills that actually work in the real world.
The LLA Fire Service First Aid Training Department is a fully approved FAIB (First Aid Industry Body) Training establishment and a full member of FOFATO (the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations). Approval and membership of these bodies require that high standards of training and assessing must be adhered to and with constant monitoring you can be assured the very highest quality training has been delivered

All our courses are delivered by full time firefighters from LLA’s dedicated airport Fire Service. Every trainer is not only qualified to at least FREC level3 and an approved FAIB trainer holding an advanced DBS certificate and also form part of the medical response team at the airport so they practice what they teach!
No, all our courses are delivered landside at our brand-new centre of excellence in Percival House and are available to everyone.
All our courses are available to members of the public over 18 years of age to book on to.
A full refund will be given if a place on a course is cancelled more than 28 days before the commencement of the course.
Yes, all courses are approved and certificates issued by the by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). Upon course completion you will receive a certificate. These certificates are recognised by the HSE inspectors, the department for education and OFSTED inspectors.
